  2. Step 1: First cover the areas you wish to remain white

  3. Step 2: Sponge on Orange areas. The bleed outside the lines will be covered by black dye later.

  4. Step 3: Allow to dry or dry with a hairdryer.

  5. Step 4: Add Step 4: Add blue dye.

  6. Step 5: Cover areas you wish to keep blue with wax. Sponge on yellow

  7. Step 6: Cover yellow with wax and Sponge on black dye.

  8. Step 7. Cover all the dyed areas with wax.

  9. Step 8: Immerse in background colour

  10. Step 9: crack the wax

  11. Step 10: final dye for crackle effect

  12. Leaving Cert Requirements • Must be immersed in the dye at least two times. • Must demonstrate tjanting and crackling techniques. • White is very important as this dissapears on you so keep a good bit of white
