  3. 1-The TaJMahALis a white marble mausoleum located in Agra, Uttar Pradesh, India. 2-It was built by Mughal emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his third wife, MumtazMahal. 3-Architectural style: Mughal architecture4-Architect: Ustad Ahmad Lahouri TAJ MAHAL

  4. 1-It is located in FatehpurSikri which is located 43 km away from Agra, India. 2- BulandDarwaza or the loft gateway was built by the great Mughal emperor, Akbar in 1601 A.D. at FatehpurSikri. 3- Akbar built the BulandDarwaza to commemorate his victory over Gujarat. BULAND DARWAJA

  5. 1-The Red Fort is a 17th century fort complex 2-constructed by the Mughal emperor, Shah Jahan in the walled city of Old Delhi that served as the residence of the Mughal Emperors. 3-On every independane day and republic day,prime minister and president of india respectively hoist the national flag of our country here. RED FORT

  6. 1-Qutub Minar also QutubMinar, is the tallest minaret in India and is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. 2-Located in Dehli,Qutubminar has a height of 72.5 metres.3-Construction began in 1192 by qutub-ud-din Aibak and was completed by Iltutmish. QUTUB MINAR

  7. 1-Humayun's tomb is the tomb of the Mughal Emperor Humayun. 2- The tomb was commissioned by Humayun's wife HamidaBanu Begum in 1562 AD. 3-It is designed by MirakMirzaGhiyath, a Persian architect. HUMAYUN TOMB

  8. 1-The India Gate is the national monument of India. Situated in the heart of New Delhi. 2- It was built in 1931. 3- commemorates the 90,000 soldiers of the British Indian Army who lost their lives in World War I and the Third Anglo-Afghan War. INDIA GATE

  9. 1-The site is one of five built by MaharajaJai Singh II of Jaipur, from 1724 onwards, as he was given by Mughal emperorMuhammad Shah the task of revising the calendar and astronomical tables. 2-it beleivedthat,it was constructed during 1724. 3- It consists of 13 architectural astronomy instruments JANTAR MANTAR,DELHI

  10. 1-Hawa Mahal, is a palace in Jaipur, India. It was built in 1799 by Maharaja SawaiPratapSingh. 2- designed by LalChandUstad in the form of the crown of Krishna, the Hindu god. HAWA MAHAL

  11. 1-The Harmandir Sahib and informally referred to as the Golden Temple is a prominent SikhGurdwara located in the city of Amritsar, Punjab, India. 2-It was built by the fifth Sikh guru, Guru Arjan Dev. 3-There are four doors to get into the Harmandir Sahib, which symbolize the openness of the Sikhs towards all people and religions. 4-The present day Gurdwara was rebuilt in 1764 by Jassa Singh Ahluwalia with the help of other SikhMisl's. In the early nineteenth century, Maharaja Ranjit Singh secured the Punjab region from outside attack and covered the upper floors of the Gurdwara with gold. GOLDEN TEMPLE

  12. 1-The Gateway of India is a monument built during the British Raj in Mumbai, India. 2- It is located on the waterfront in the Apollo Bunder area, South Mumbai and overlooks the Arabian Sea. 3-The foundation stone for the Gateway of India was laid on 31 March 1911. The final design of George Wittet was sanctioned in 1914 and the construction of the monument was completed in 1924 GATE WAY OF INDIA

  13. 1-The Charminar, built in 1591 CE. 2- It is a mosque located in Hyderabad, Andhra Pradesh, India. 3- The Charminar is on the east bank of Musi river. 4- The Charminar was constructed by Qutb Shah. CHARMINARHyDERABAD

  14. 1-Tirumala Venkateswara Temple is a Hindu temple in the hill town of Tirumala, near Tirupati in the Chittoor district of Andhra Pradesh. 2-The presiding deity of the temple is Lord Venkateswara, a form of the Hindu god Vishnu. Venkateswara is known by other names: Balaji, Govinda, and Srinivasa.. 3-The temple is the richest pilgrimage center, after the SreePadmanabhaswamy Temple in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala,and the most-visited place of worship in the world.   15. 1-RAMESWARAM Temple is a famous Hindu temple dedicated to god Shiva 2-it is located in the island of Rameswaram in the state of Tamil Nadu. 3-It is one of the 275 Paadal Petra Sthalams. 4-The temple was built during the 12th century by Pandya Dynasty . 5- It is considered a holy pilgrimage site for Shaivites, Vaishnavites and Smarthas. 6- The Temple is also one of the 12 Jyothirlinga temples RAMESWARAM TEMPLE
